Melissa Parente spent six years working in the corporate world of IT and Financial Planning, when a period of personal and workplace stress led the now 28-year-old to explore natural therapies and spiritual answers.
“I learned many things that helped me, so now when I see other people struggling, I want to extend that knowledge to them, too,” she says.
In 2010, Soul Enterprises was born: a website and company designed by Melissa to connect like minded people and businesses in pursuit of health, wellbeing and happiness.
Offering workshops, weekends away, professional development days and an online directory, Soul Enterprises is a source of knowledge, self-empowerment, information, resources and services for anyone who wishes to better themselves.
“I’m very passionate about this,” says Melissa. “People are getting too sick and stressed. The world is changing, and more and more people are realising that we need to start making changes regarding how we look at ourselves and the world, how we treat others and the environment.
Soul Enterprises aims to bring people happiness and positivity, good health and wellbeing, and assist in changing outdated ways of thinking as we strive forth into the future.”
